about web design
There was a day when I yelled out for joy when my div's aligned and everything worked.
Come to think of it ... that's pretty much every day.
Moving from a Print to an Online background has taken the better part of a year. In that year, I've managed to become adept at HMTL/xHTML and CSS.
I began as a mockup/digital designer for The Tennessean, creating Photoshop mockups and working with developers on structure and usability.
Moving beyond that, I now take mockups or design concepts, build the front-end and work with developers to move the markup into a custom CMS, learning usability and UI design during the process.
Change is something I not only adapt to, but strive after.
