Most of my career has revolved around print design, from graphic design to magazine and newspaper design.

I've trained to write, research and illustrate news stories as an design intern/copy editor for The Lafayette Journal & Courier. I redesigned my college magazine during my semester as Art Director and helped launch a redesign of The Ball State Daily News as the Design Editor the next.

Working at a newspaper as a print designer prepared me for the fast-paced deadlines of the industry. Nothing comes close to the adrenaline rush, or feeling of accomplishment when meeting a printer's deadline and managing award-winning designers on a breaking news night.
