about sketch + illustration

I have been sketching, drawing and illustrating since I was in elementary school. I often used to be proud that I could color within the lines ... now I find myself trying to blur them.

When I was in fourth grade, I walked into an art museum in Orlando, FL. and remember being awe-struck by how much beauty and creativity there was in the world. I also wanted to a part of that world, creating and inspiring others.
